NOUS Project Partners Convene in Athens for 4th General Assembly

The NOUS Project successfully held its 4th General Assembly on the 13th and 14th of January 2026. Hosted by its project partners AETHON Engineering in Athens, Greece the two-day event brought together a diverse consortium of international partners to advance the project’s development
The first day of the assembly was dedicated to technical coordination and reviewing the progress of core Work Packages. The project’s coordinator AIR Institute opened the sessions with updates on project management, coordination, and gap analysis, reflecting on the activities implemented during the fourth semester. Deep dives followed into the technical pillars of the project: the computational component (#compute) led by NCSRD, the edge component (#edge) led by ITML, and the data component (#data) led by NET INTRA. The afternoon sessions focused on the creation of the NOUS architecture and a specialized instructions on the Value Proposition Canvas for Key Exploitable Results, moderated by F6S. 
On the second day, the focus shifted toward the data economy and the status of specific use cases. Partners reviewed the development of several critical applications, including the perception of connected vehicles using camera data led by POLITO, energy prediction and lifecycle management led by AETHON, and the crisis management platform developed by CS Group. Additionally, NCSRD presented progress on scientific data HPC storage and AI analytics. The meeting concluded with strategic sessions led by AIR regarding the reporting practices and the Innovation Radar, ensuring the project remains aligned with its long-term objectives.
